Since its foundation in 1988, Proctor and Matthews
architects have been at the centre of Britain's urban regeneration
debate. Established in London the practice has provided urban design
expertise to regenaration agencies across Britain, and has worked
in the USA, Norway, New Zealand and the Caribbean. Throughout the
past decade the practice has realised numerous award-winning urban
projects, including work in the office, housing, education and sports
sectors. Proctor and Matthews' work involves a focused commitment
to imaginative and appropriate contemporary solutions to each urban
project. This is combined with a concern for both historical conditions
and cultural identities. The success of this approach has earned the
practice a growing reputation for design excellence, which is supported
by the international publications of their work and numerous awards
for both architecture and urban design projects. |
